A few things before your first story.

How does Family Lite’s monthly allowance work?
Family Lite is $10 per month for 10 new illustrated stories. Use them anytime during your billing month, with no one-story-per-day limit. Your allowance renews on your billing date; unused stories don’t roll over. Rereading and replaying saved stories do not use your allowance. Fully failed generations are refunded automatically. Family includes one new story every 24 hours, and Storyteller includes three.
What do I get for free?
Your first story is free, with original illustrations and follow-up questions. Add up to 3 people and choose a template for a 3- or 5-minute story. Reread it in your library whenever you like. No credit card or subscription is required.
Should I start on the web or in the app?
Either works. Start on the web with no download, or get Storyplease on the App Store for iPhone. Use the same email to access your family, stories, and plan in both places. On Android, use the web version.
How do I sign up?
Enter your email, then the one-time code we send you. There is no password to create. Add your family, choose a story idea, and make your first story.
What ages are the stories for?
Storyplease is made for families with children ages 2–12. The situations, emotions, and questions are shaped around your child's age.
Can I give my own story instructions?
Yes, on all paid plans. Share a short idea, instructions, or a fuller outline. Storyplease uses it as guidance to write a complete story featuring your chosen people.
How long does a story take?
Usually a few minutes for the writing and illustrations. We'll notify you when it's ready. Choose a reading length of about 2 or 5 minutes, or 10 minutes on Storyteller. Each story includes 3–8 illustrated pages and a few follow-up questions.
Do I need to upload photos?
No. Photos are optional. Add names, ages, and descriptions, or include a reference photo to help guide the illustrations. Photos are used to create and quality-check your stories, not for advertising or model training. You can delete them from your account. Read our privacy policy.
How do you keep stories suitable for children?
Storyplease is designed for parents to use with their children. AI creates the stories with age guidance and content checks, but it can make mistakes. Preview each story before reading it together. Paid plans let you refresh story text or illustrations within your plan's limits.
Can I share or print a story?
All plans keep stories in your library for rereading. Family Lite, Family, and Storyteller include private share links that loved ones can open without an account. Storyteller also includes printable PDFs.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. For a web subscription, open Settings in Storyplease to manage billing. For an App Store subscription, use your Apple subscription settings. After canceling renewal, your paid plan stays active until the current billing period ends.
