A 2, 5, or 10-minute story with original art on every page, key moments highlighted, and follow-up questions at the end.

Real people, real stories

Your kid is the hero — and so is Grandma.

Add the people in your child's world once. Storyplease remembers their personality, age, and how they look, and weaves them naturally into every story.

  • Cartoon-style art that actually looks like them
  • Hobbies and interests show up in the story

Made to be read together

Beautifully illustrated, made for laps and pillows.

Every story turns into pages with original art at the top and the words below — calm, focused, and built for the way kids actually read at bedtime.

  • 3–8 illustrated pages depending on length
  • Key moments highlighted to spark discussion
  • Choose 2, 5, or 10 minutes — perfect for the moment

"You take him," Theo said. "Just for today — for brave." Wren tucked Boo carefully into her backpack so only his head peeked out.

More than reading

Stories that start conversations.

Every story ends with 2–4 follow-up questions written for your child's age — the kind that turn into the best 5-minute talks of the day.

  • Open-ended questions, not quiz questions
  • Tied to the lesson or theme of the story
  • A daily ritual that builds character over time

Why we built it

Turn bedtime into a superpower.

Bedtime is chaos. Teeth need brushing, someone can't find their stuffy, and you've already used up every story you can think of, twice. Coming up with something new and engaging, every single night, is one of the quietly challenging parts of being a parent.

Storyplease takes that off your plate. Because the heroes are people your kids actually know and the story is brand new every night, they lean in instead of bouncing off the walls — long enough for the lesson, the laugh, or just the calm to land. Scripture, life lessons, family moments, or a one-line idea you whisper at 8:42pm: we'll turn it into a story they'll ask for again tomorrow.

Mobile-first. Sign in with just your email. Built for the tired parent. The kids do the rest.

Questions, answered

Everything you might be wondering.

How does Storyplease "put my family in" the story?
Add a person once — name, age, personality, and an optional photo. When you create a story, pick which people are in it and (optionally) what role each one plays. The story text and the illustrations are generated together, so the characters look and act like the people you described.
What ages is Storyplease for?
Storyplease is designed for kids roughly ages 2 to 12. You set each child's age when you add them, and stories are written to match — shorter and simpler for toddlers, longer and more nuanced for older kids. The same template can produce very different stories for a 4-year-old vs. a 10-year-old.
Is it safe and age-appropriate?
Yes — and we've designed Storyplease specifically with that in mind. Stories are written by the parent, not by the kid: there's no chatbot interface for your child, no ads, no in-app purchases aimed at kids, and no data sold to third parties. Every story is generated to be kid-friendly and age-appropriate by default, and you see every page before your child does. Hard topics (like losing a pet) are written with extra care to be gentle and hopeful. You can also choose age and tone for each person you add.
What AI models does Storyplease use?

We use the latest text and image models from OpenAI (the team behind ChatGPT) and Google (Gemini) — the two most capable and safety-tested AI systems available. We chose them because they have the strongest content filters, the best creative writing, and the most rigorous safeguards for kid-appropriate output. We've also tuned our own prompts to keep stories age-appropriate by default, so nothing scary or inappropriate slips through.

Your family details and photos are sent to these providers through their commercial API, with model training and data feedback explicitly disabled in our account settings. Your family's data stays your family's.

Will my family's photos or details be used to train AI?
No. Reference photos, names, and personality details you add are used only to generate your own family's stories. They're sent to our AI providers through their commercial API with model training and data feedback explicitly disabled in our settings. We don't sell data, we don't show ads, and you can delete any person — or your whole account — at any time.
What kinds of stories can I make?
A wide range — bedtime originals, life lessons, character principles (courage, patience, honesty), milestone family events (a new sibling, a first day of school), and scripture stories. You can also write your own one-line idea and have Storyplease turn it into a full story.
How long does a story take to generate?
Usually about 2–4 minutes. Each story includes a title, 3–8 illustrated pages depending on length, key-moment highlighting, and 2–4 follow-up questions.
What if a story isn't what I hoped for?
Make another one. Stories generate quickly, so if a particular story doesn't land — wrong tone, wrong moment, or your kid just wasn't feeling it — you can create a new one in minutes. On Family and Storyteller plans you can also regenerate any individual page's illustration without re-creating the whole story.
Can I share, save, or print my stories?
Yes to all three. Every story is kept in your library so you can re-read favorites night after night. On the Family and Storyteller plans, every story has a private share link you can send to grandparents or family by text or email — no account needed to read it. Storyteller also includes print-ready PDFs if you'd like to mail or hand-deliver a story.
Do I need to create an account?
Yes — but there's no password. Sign in with just your email and a one-time code. That's it.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Both monthly and annual plans cancel from your account settings — no calls, no questions asked. Annual plans aren't refunded for the unused portion, but you keep access until the term ends.
